UG & PG Programmes Refund Policy

  • A candidate can request for withdrawal of admission by filling-in the google form through the following link: https://forms.gle/mqWUEcjpAG5ETRyJ6. No other mode will be accepted.
  • If a candidate withdraws from the programme up to the commencement of the Monsoon Semester, she/he will be eligible for refund of all deposits/fees paid after a deduction of the admission fee of USD 200.
  • Candidates withdrawing within15 days of the commencement of the Monsoon Semester, shall be eligible for 50% refund of the semester fee and 75% of the security deposit. Admission fee and student aid fund shall not be refunded.
  • Candidates withdrawing after 15 days of the commencement of the Monsoon Semester, shall not be eligible for any refund of deposits/fees paid except 75% of security deposit.
  • In case of a candidate given admission pending the declaration of his/her result and if the candidate is unable to meet the admission criteria on declaration of the result, he/she will be entitled to refund of full semester fee and 75% of the security deposit. Admission fee and student aid fund shall not be refunded.
  • Refunds will be processed after the admission registrations are completed or after one month of the commencement of the Monsoon Semester, whichever is later.
  • SAU being an International University, UGC Regulations/Guidelines, pertaining to admissions and refund, of any Member State of SAARC are not applicable to it.

 Note: Refund Policy will be applicable irrespective of the date on which the admission has been offered.

PhD Programmes: Direct Mode Refund Policy

  • Withdrawal requests must be submitted via the designated Google form https://forms.gle/mqWUEcjpAG5ETRyJ6. No other methods are accepted.
  • Withdrawals before physical registration are eligible for a full refund of deposits/fees, minus a USD 200 admission fee.
  • Withdrawals within 15 days of physical registration, after fee payment, are eligible for a 75% course fee refund and 75% security deposit refund. Admission fee and student aid fund are non-refunded.
  • Withdrawals within one month of physical registration are eligible for a 50% course fee refund and 75% security deposit refund. Admission fee and student aid fund are non-refunded.
  • Withdrawals after one month of physical registration are eligible for a 75% security deposit refund only. No other refunds apply.
  • Candidates admitted pending result declaration of the qualifying examination, who fail to meet admission criteria upon result announcement, are eligible for a full course fee refund and 75% security deposit refund. Admission fee and student aid fund are non-refunded.
  • Refunds will be processed quarterly.
  • SAU, as an International University, is exempt from UGC Regulations/Guidelines on admissions and refunds of any SAARC Member State.
